About Us

We are great outdoor enthusiasts and run the The Oratory as a small family business. We are very child friendly having two of our own and are happy to advise on child/buggy friendly walks/activities as well as helping out with baby sitting should it be needed. Toys and Childrens Videos are available just ask.

We are also very used to having dogs around the place – we have one of our own a collie called Tor, and it is dog heaven with numerous local walks. We have a large garden that guests are welcome to use but we just request that you clean up after your dog. The moor can be accessed from all directions.
